Feeling very weak, Elliot try his best to hang in there. He wasn't ready to leave his little brother and best friend yet, but he was doing the best he can. He felt a bit woozy, but it was only a matter of time whether he'll make it out alive or not.
Trying to give himself the strength he needed, Elliot open his eyes again, look Boog straight in the face and slowly lifted up his arm, opening the palm of his hoof, wanting to hold Boog's paw.

Boog extended his paw and held on to Elliot's hoof. Boog even though he was so tough had begun to cry but he was trying to hide it the best he could especially for Blaze. Blaze meanwhile was crying his little heart out. "Is Elliot gonna be ok" ? Blaze sniffled. |

Elliot couldn't speak, but with Blaze and Boog at his side, he was hanging in there as best as he can. With Boog holding onto his hoof, Elliot pulls himself together and tries to get up. But as he did, he lost his balance and fell into Boog's lap. He look at his little brother. "No pressure Blazie....no pressure." He spoke softly, smiling weakly giving him the big thumbs up.

Blaze walked over to Elliot and nuzzled his brother lovingly. He was so worried about losing his brother. He had nothing if Elliot was gone.

Elliot nuzzles his little brother back and gives his big buddy Boog a hug. "Boog......" He begins to say his old pal. "Thanks for bringing me into this trip. You're the best partner a deer can ever had."

"Awwww, thanks buddy. And even though sometimes you can be a real pain in the butt. And trust me you can be one. There's nobody in the world I'd rather take a trip with then you"Boog said hugging back his old friend. "Ready to continue on our trip? You can ride on my back if you want. That way you can rest from your injuries." Boog said. It wasn't often he let Elliot ride on his back but Elliot was in pain and if they wanted to continue their journey Boog had to let Elliot rest a while.

"All right no problem pal. " Boog said and picked up Elliot gently and carried him in his paws.
Blaze followed sadly.
Boog smiles over at Blaze.
"Don't worry little man. Your brother is going to be fine. You're a trooper right Elliot?" Boog said.

Elliot nodded, he was too tired to speak, but Boog's warm fur was comfortable to rest, it was like sleeping in a soft fuzzy bed. The one horn antler mule deer yawn and dozes off to sleep as Boog was still carrying him in his big arms.

Elliot kept sleeping peacefully as Boog was carrying him along their trip to search for the treasure. He didn't bother waking up for 2 hours, he enjoy his quiet rest.

Boog and Blaze continued walking. Blaze was still very worried about his brother. If anything ever happened to his big brother Blaze would never recover from that. Boog had to feel kinda bad for Blaze he really loved Elliot. But he knew deep down that Elliot was going to be just fine after he woke up.
Boog looked down at the map. According to the map they were getting pretty close to the Treasure.
