What do you hate?

Right... small rant coming on...

I hate ignorant people who sit there in class and insult america right in front of me without sparing a thought that I'm sat there, listening to them!! I'm so sick of living in a country where I have to listen to everybody insult my country!! What ever happened to Britain and America being Allies?! We still are, aren't we? So why the hell does everybody here seem to think America is the worst country in the world? Why are we allies if the general population hates america?!

Now, let me explain why I'm so upset...
In my english class a couple of days ago, we were moving on to a poem about a british man who had to kill an irish man and thought it was strange he had to kill somebody of such similar culture. My english teacher used a war between Britain and america to compare. And the first thing somebody said was "Yeah, but all americans are fat."
So I death stared her... and everybody was like "Uh oh..." My teacher didn't bother saying anything. It's ignorant people with that sort of attitude that really get on my nerves!!

Excuse me, but I'm american, and I'm not fat. My whole family is american, with over 100 members, only seven of which are fat!! So no, not all americans are fat. Only about a third of americans are even overweight, and overweight doesn't even mean you look fat!

Oh, and another thing... some dork I have to sit next to in science randomly told me "America is the worst country in the world." for absolutely no reason!! So what did I do? I stabbed him, he complained. Well what did he expect? I'm not taking it anymore!
From now on, whenever I hear a crack about america at school, I'm gonna go balistic, I'm gonna yell, I'm gonna walk out of the class and slam the door, I'm gonna run away from school. And I'm gonna tell it like it is when I get caught. I'm gonna tell them it's going to happen every time they make generalisations like that.

I really can't stand it anymore. Just a few days ago, somebody called me an american piece of trash. So I shouted at them, death metal style.

Sorry for the rant, but I really needed to vent. I'm so fed up with it!!

I admire you, just because you can stand with your reason and you sound like a real patriot ;D
Surely you have your good reason for that and I would like to think like you about my country, but I can't and I have my good reason too.
Ok, this game is called "What do you hate", I can't say 'I hate my country', but I can say loud 'I'm not proud to be an Italian citizen'.

I hate people who hate other people, because of their heritage or race.....

(Small note to Midnight; I know exactly what it's like...... Danes aren't exactly that fond of Americans.... Fortunately, over the past few years people have become less towards Americans.......... However, this doesn't really represent any significant improvement in the general danish opinion about foreigners.... Sure they like other europeans, americans and asians..... But they HATE arabs...... Heck we even have a political party called "Dansk folkeparti" (Danish Peoples Party), who basically is a modern Fascist party, who believes Scandinavians are the best race of people on the face of this planet, to the extent where they've used "Muhammed" insulting pictures on their election posters, and even held several contests at their yearly party-meetings where the goal was to draw a picture of Muhammed in the most insulting manner, possible....... Of course thats only their official policy... Unofficially they hate everyone who aren't danes................. the most frightening thing is, that at the last election they recieved nearly 15% of the votes, which ensured that the current government could continue, which of course consists of "Venstre" (The danish Liberal Party *I voted for these guys* ) , "De Konservative" (The Danish Conservative Party) and "Dansk Folkeparti".......

So, Midnight, I know exactly what its like....... But trust me, running away from them won't help you at all...... No, you should show them, that you're stronger than that... That you won't simply run and hide, whenever they say someone that you might disagree with... That only makes you look weak in their eyes! Remember, people like that, are quite primitive, and often lack knowlegde about the actual conditions............. Next time they insult you, you should reply "And how are brits, exactly better than americans?"... What I've been hearing recently about Britain, haven't really given me any indication about british conditions being much better than americans.....)
