Kenai listen as Boog was telling him what had happen, but poor Elliot was feeling so frustrated he wish he could understand what Boog and Kenai were trying to say to each other. "What are you two talking about?!!?!?!" Elliot whines. Kenai turns to Elliot and stares at the amulet that was around Elliot's neck. "The amulet!!" Kenai whipsers. Elliot notices Kenai was looking at the amulet he was still wearing around his neck.
Just then the amulet glow twice and suddenly Elliot could finally understand what Kenai and Boog were saying. Elliot was shocked, first he couldn't understand what the two bears were saying, but now he can. How did that happen?! "Did I just understood what you two just said?! What's going on with this thing?!!?!" Elliot fusses, talking about the amulet. "I think the amulet fix your communication with us." Kenai told Elliot.

It looks like Elliot could understand the bears now thanks to the amulet's power.
Boog: "Hey! You can understand us now Elliot? What's going on here?! Why are you a human? And how do we change you back?!"

Elliot was glad to find out he can understand what Boog and Kenai were saying thanks to the amulet's special power. "I...I don't know!" Elliot cries after Boog asks him how they can change him back. Maybe Kenai knew the answers. "You're Nadine's ex-boyfriend, do you know a way I can change back? Please tell me! I don't wanna stay as a hairless monster forever!!!" Elliot begs. Kenai begin to think all though the amulet did look like the same one Nita had before she burned it.
"Hmmm....wish I can, but I'm afraid I can't help you." Kenai answers. Elliot couldn't believe his ears. "WHAT?!!?!?"
"The amulet doesn't do what the owner tells it to do, it works by itself. Maybe that's your problem. You were bug about something and the amulet thought it help solve your problem when it change you into a human." Kenai explained. But Elliot thought he was joking.
"You're kidding...right?" He said to the grizzly. But Kenai shook his head. He never fools about something this serious. "How long am I gonna stay this way?" Elliot wanted to know. "Hmmm...I'm not sure, but it could take a while. The amulet will decide to change you back....IF it needs to." Said Kenai.

All of that was totally confusing for Boog. It all went over his head.

Elliot frown. There was no way he was gonna make it on his own if he were to stay as a human forever. How could Nadine handle this if she found out? More importantly...what would his little brother Blaze think if he finds out he's a human? "I don't have time to stay as a human for the rest of my life! My brother is gonna freak if he finds out!!! What am I gonna do?!" Elliot worried. To Kenai, this guy was more annoying and a pain in the butt than he was when he was a mule deer, but he decided to help him out.
"There is one thing you can do while you're stuck like this...for now." Kenai said. "What's that?" Elliot asks, curiously to know.
"You'll have to make a spear to protect yourself from enemies." Kenai answers. Has this bear lost it? Appearently, Elliot knew Kenai wasn't joking for real.
"What's a spear?" Asked Elliot.
"It's a tool humans make to defend theirselves if they come across a dangerous animal. They used them to hunt down food and fight off their predators they don't want to have around." Explained Kenai. But there was clearly some kind of mistake. Elliot knew that hunters use guns, not spears.
"Hunters don't use spears." Elliot said. "Well you're going to have one whether you want it or not, it will help protect yourself from danger." Kenai said. He look around in hoping to find something to make a spear for Elliot. He finds a long stick and grabs it. "Hold this for a second." He tells Elliot and finds the last tools he needed. It wasn't long before Kenai found the last two things. He brought back a sharp rock and a lash. Kenai helps Elliot create the spear by placing the sharp rock on top of the long stick and ties it up tightly with the lash. "There! That's how you make a spear. Simple as that." Kenai said.
But Elliot wasn't impressed. He didn't need some stupid rock on the stick to help him keep away from danger. He thought it was useless. "Blah! No thank you." Elliot says, gently tossing the spear away from his hands, landing it softly on the grass. This totally got Kenai really mad. Why couldn't this idiot listen to him? He thought it was hopeless.

Blaze saw that Koda was with Jackie and since Elliot wasn't gonna come too him he figured he'd find Elliot it had been so long since he had left. Blaze had walked a while until he saw Elliot talking too Boog. "What have you done too my brother you stay away from Boog he's one of my friends" He said angrily too Elliot not knowing it was him.

Before Kenai and Boog can reply to him, Elliot heard something and quicky grabs the spear trying to defend himself, but he was too scared knowing he was a coward. But saw it was only his little brother who had came back. "Blaze?! Aw great...." Elliot mumbles, he was afraid his brother would find out about his new form sooner or later.

"Blaze? How do you know my name? How can you understand me? "Elliot had changed but his voice sounded the same he was about too get even more angry but then he saw the amulet he had seen this on Nadine it had turned Nadine in too a deer so obviously it could do the opposite too " Elliot? Is it really you"?"Blaze said still keeping a distance just in case.

Elliot forgot he had the spear he was still holding, so he gently set it down and bent down on his knees staring at Blaze. "Yeah...it's really me. It's okay Blaze...I'm not gonna hurt you." Elliot said softly. He speard out his arms to show Blaze he wouldn't hurt him. He wanted to hug his little brother, but was afraid how he was gonna react to him. A deer and a human can't be brothers. I don't even have a brother anymore. I thought we'd be brothers forever "He said running away with tears in his eyes. |

Arwin was still hanging out with Truttle and the others until he noticed Blaze had slip off. "Hey! Where's the little deer run off to?" Arwin asked.
Meanwhile Elliot tries to call back to him, but Blaze ingores him as he took off. He frown, he knew something this bad was gonna happen and it did. Elliot sat down on the ground staring at the spear next to him. "I guess I will be stuck as a human forever." He said sadly to himself. Kenai and Boog who were watching the whole thing happen couldn't help but feel sorry for the deer-change-to-human. But Kenai grew more disapointed, he didn't know Elliot's little brother return to see how he was doing, only to find him change into a human.
After seeing Blaze leave his own big brother like that broke Kenai's heart. It reminded him how bad he felt when he remember the time he told Koda he was the one who killed his mother before Koda ran away from him. After hearing what Blaze had told to Elliot that they couldn't be brothers anymore, also made Kenai felt more sad. Blaze reminded Kenai too much about Koda; how he almost left him for something that wasn't suppose to happen.

Blaze was starting too feel bad how could he have just left Elliot like that? He walked back too Elliot and hugged him begging him for forgiveness. "I'm so sorry Elliot I guess I was just upset you meant so much too me I guess I thought you were giving up on me. I had a lot of people give up on me in my small life Elliot. I shouldn't have run off. If this is what you want then I'm gonna try too find a way too become a human too. I don't know how I will do it. But if that's what you want I'll do it I think we could work this out Ell. You're the only family I ever had I don't wanna lose you too. I all ready lost all the rest of my family Ell."Blaze cried hugging Elliot tightly.

Elliot wasn't paying attention but was suprised to see his little brother return and yet offers him a big hug. Elliot was so touched by Blaze's words, he hugs him back. "Thanks Blaze. I was afraid you were gonna leave me just like everyone else did before I met Boog. Thanks for not leaving me behind..but, I wasn't planning on staying as a human forever. I'll find a way back to my old form. I promise." He said as he was still hugging Blaze. Kenai smiles when he saw Blaze had return. He knew he wouldn't give up on him just like Koda didn't gave up on him. No matter how hard they acted, brothers always stay true forever.
Even though it was seriously really late, Kenai yawn and call it for the night. He was so tired he wanted to go to sleep right now. But he had no where else to go. He still miss Koda and wondered where he was, not knowing his little bro was still with his old pal Truttle and the rest of the group. Since Kenai did not trust Elliot that well, he decided to give him a chance and to stay with him and Boog. "It's getting late. Maybe we should rest for the night." Kenai said. Elliot agree.
"I'll help you guys until I find a way back to get home with my little brother." Kenai told them. "You're staying?! You mean...with us?" Elliot said looking suprised. He thought Kenai had hated him, but why would he stay? Was he out of his mind? "I know we didn't get off on a good start, but I know more about human stuff than anyone else... now that you're human. I'll stick with you for a while until we find a way to get you back to your old self." Kenai said to Elliot. Elliot smiles.
