Well, probably that's not my lucky period... Just a couple of days ago I fell off my bike and broke right arm and two ribs, my beloved Ducati Monster is simply destroyed, I can't breathe due the pain, I can't play guitar, my Ubuntu distro died and I lost all my files... God... I'm so lucky Ahh I forgot... I'm right-handed ;D

I don't know what to say Andrea. Not sure if I would called that lucky either but wow! That was a lot! You were lucky you're still alive, but I'm very sorry to hear about the other stuff you lost and broke.

Don't worry, I keep smiling, and within 5-6 weeks I'll be brand new like! At least that's what doctors said ;D

Sounds like you had a somewhat rough ride...... Just remember to smile And perhaps go for a run..... You know, you recover more quickly if you exercise (well at least to some extent.... having 2 broken ribs, seriously limits these capabilities.... But do what ya can.... ) Do note: The above mentioned is based solely on my experiences with recovering after breaking a few bones (of course I've never broken my ribs before)

A very rough ride... OMG, what a crash! ;D I still feel stunned ( do you notice this? ) Anyway after this 5-6 weeks I'll probably need some physiotherapy for my arm, and for the moment the best thing to do is stay at rest. You know, now a single coughing make me die... ok stop now, I don't want to bug you anymore... ehm... can I post the X-Ray of my elbow? ;D ROFL J/K

Wow!! I couldn't imagine that... I mean... the worst I've ever gotten was a sprain, but to break multiple bones?! o.O I'm glad you're keeping a positive attitude. Six weeks shouldn't be too long. However, I do feel pretty bad for you not being able to play the guitar... that's one of the most enjoyable things ever. Oh well, keep going. It'll go faster that you think!!

Seems that my situation is getting worse and worse ;D Yesterday doctor called me saying that I had to do x-ray to my shoulder and... it's broken and sub-dislocated -.- that's why it hurt so much... it hurt more when they pulled my arm to set it well, I passed out x.x Now I wear, other than the cast, a bandage that keep my arm in the right position, in a week I'll go the do another x-ray, if the fracture is still compound I'll keep my arm completely immobilized for about 15-20 days, otherwise I will be operated. Please, pray for me XD

I don’t know how can I start writing this… I can surely say that today is the worse day of my whole life… I come to x-ray my elbow before removing the cast, elbow bone is not well weld because it’s not in the right position, and a big calcification has grown right where the bone is broken. Docs said that this will not allow me to bend my arm toward me so much, and it can’t be healed; tomorrow morning I will be operated, they will set the bone with nails, and I’ll carry another sort of cast I don’t know how long. d**ned that day I went for a ride… I feel so bad, I’m really depressed… I don’t know if you’ll see me around here in the future I can’t say nothing for the moment ‘cause now everything I see is bad. Jesus, I’m 22 years old and I will not be able to do the thing I love to… this thought kill me, I don’t wanna become a d**ned invalid. Ok, stop, now I’m laying on a hospital bed, I’m waiting for the operation but I think I’ll not fall asleep this night, and I’ve lost all my hopes and my smile too. Sorry for this post, but I really need to vent.

Dang... that's really shocking. Are you sure there's absolutely nothing you can do to cheer up? Listen to music, watch a movie or something? I know you've lost your smile... but I know it'll come back soon enough. Good things come to those who wait. Just try to be optimistic about things, a smile goes a million miles. =3
And whenever you need to vent or something, we'll be here for ya!

Midnight's right Andrea. If you keep your chin up high and think happy stuff, good things will come your way. Your operation thing truly shock me, but think none the less that a happier and brighter future will come your way if you keep on beliving. Hang in there my friend.
