Suri struggles herself out of Boog's grip and climb into his back for the ride on the way back. Once Suri, Boog and Arwin arrive Nolan was the first one to have spot them for their return. "Hi everyone, we're back!" Suri said. "What are those?" Nadine asked looking at the three plants Suri was holding. "They're plants Ma. They're for helping Daddy get well."
Soon as the word well strike her on the head, Nadine quicky snap the plants outta Suri's hooves. "Gimmie those!" She said and helds one of them over to Elliot, waiting for him to take it. "Here, eat them! You'll need these!"

"Oh food, that's great! I'm starved!!" Elliot said, blissfully unaware, snatching the plants from Nadine's grip. Quickly, the buck put the herbs in his mouth and swallowed them whole in one quick motion. A disgusting taste slapped his tongue like a lady who just got dumped. "EUURGHG!H!!!" Elliot exclaimed, "What was that stuff?!"

"Suri said those will help you feel better. How do you feel now?" Nadine ask wondering if the plants will work.

"Well... I feel the same, but I don't understand. What is it with everyone thinking there's something wrong with me? Nothing's happened!" He complained. Elliot had no recolection of the last few days and was growing tired of everybody telling him something horrible happened. In Elliot's mind, nothing happened and everybody else is crazy. Or else, this is just a dream...

For sure, getting the plants would had work, but Nadine didn't understand why Elliot was still pretending like there was nothing wrong was him. Was he playing games or did Suri wasted her time going on her own with Boog and Arwin to get the plants for nothing? So many confusion, but at the same time Nadine felt like taking out her anger on her own little daughter if the plants didn't work, but mostly she felt like breaking down into tears like the poor sad heartbroken doe she was, feeling like she had been stabbed in the heart.
Suddenly, Nadine drops down to Elliot's feet and sobs. "I CAN'T LOSE YOU!!!" She wailed helding tight around her husband's feet. "Don't you see? We had to get you better, I can't risk losing a loved one! I'm trying to tell you......you got seriously wounded by a hunter after we save the kids, but when Suri left with Arwin and Boog to get those plants for you, you were bursting out strange words and past out, I couldn't keep track of what was going on! I don't wanna go on as a single mother for the rest of my life if something were to happen to you!"

Nadine turn her head towards the others hoping one of them can try to tell Elliot what was going on. Was she going nuts or was this all going through her head? Confused and crush, Nadine left Elliot and the group and went outside of the cave feeling badly devastated.

"Nadine... I think I know what's wrong with Mr. E..." Boog said, putting his left paw around the doe's shoulder... "Maybe the hunter hit him so hard that he, well.. y'know... lost his memory..." he explained...

"Lost his memory?! That....that can't be! You guys went through all that trouble to get the plants and....." Nadine cried but stop and look at Suri blaming her for everything. "This is all YOUR fault!" Nadine said furiously pointing at her. "What?! But mom I...." She try to explain, but Nadine continue yelling at her. "You said those plants were suppose to help him, but you lied!!! Now he's stuck with no memory what-so-ever. What are we gonna do?!"
Suri thought for sure the plants did help, but they didn't. Maybe she thought she pick up the wrong ones. She didn't recalled at all getting ones that were suppose to help jog up a lost memory, but Suri felt so bad that her own mother was taking the blame on her. That's when she shouted back at her. "I only did it to help you! But everything we try, it's not good enough for you! I wish you weren't my mother!!" Cried Suri and ran away in tears.

Suddenly, a scream echoed from inside the cave. It was Elliot. The plants worked their way through his system and unleashed his memory. The trauma from the past few days came back, and the Buck was back into emotional trauma. He came running out to see everybody else.
"NADINE!!" He cried, getting down on his knees and hugging her waist... "I remember now! The hunter, the kids, my sister! All of it!" he said, sobbing into the doe's tummy.

"Hmph! The nerve of that girl...." Nadine thought to herself after Suri ran off crying into tears, but soon began to feel guilty, after all she was her daughter and it wasn't right to give her the disrespect she didn't deserved. She remember how rudely she was to her parents before when she used to be a human and how they gave her a hard life, suddenly there was a loud scream coming from the cave. Nadine was about go check to see what was wrong, but Elliot soon got his memories back and came out hugging her with tears in his upsetful eyes.
"You're.....you're memory back?! Oh Elliot, it's a miracle!" Nadine said in joy. She was so happy her husband finally had his memory back, that she smother him in kisses. But stops remembering that Suri ran off after she thought the plants didn't work on him. "Uh-oh..."

Nadine smacked hersef on the forehead. "Suri! I....I yelled at her after we thought the plants didn't work and she ran off!" She said to Elliot blaming herself. "We're gonna have to split up and find her." She said and turns to Boog. "Boog, I need you to get Arwin and search half of the forest. Me and Elliot will go in the other direction and search that half of the forest. Nolan will stay here at the cave and watch the twins."

"Again? Oh man...." Boog said in a huge sigh... "We're getn' these kids a cage until they're mature enough!" He continued in a mood... "C'mon, Arwin... let's get going..." the grizzly sighed, turning around and heading out towards the woods...
