Nadine and Elliot began the search after Arwin and Boog left. They search and search til their hooves were worning out and got sore. "Suri has got to be in the woods somewhere. She can't be too far! Which spot we haven't look yet?" Nadine asked Elliot checking sure they haven't gone in circles.

"I can't think of any. But-- Bears are really good at sniffing stuff out, maybe Boog and Arwin found Suri in the other half of the forest.." Elliot proposed to Nadine, growing more and more tired. The day was now growing old and Elliot was getting hungry...

Nadine gotten a little hungry too, but they had no time to stop for a snack. Finding their oldest lost child was a big rush for them. "Let's try the mountains. I'll bet that's where Suri is." She said.

"Why there?" Elliot asked confusedly. Surely She wouldn't have a reason to go up there. Afterall, she already got the herbs from the mountain and healed Elliot. Put Elliot pondered a bit... perhaps that's exactly what Suri wanted them to think! And if she was up in the mountains... that means danger. Even the movement of a small fawn could trigger an avalanche! "Oh..." Elliot continued, then in his realisation, he panicked and shouted: "LET'S GO!!" running off towards the mountain...

Nadine follow Elliot right behind soon as the two of them went to the mountains. Once they got up there, they search calling out for her name until....Nadine spotted Suri sitting by herself at the edge of the cliff looking at the gigantic view. "Suri!" She cried. "What are YOU doing here?" Suri asked rudely, not too please to see her mother again. "Are you here to yell at me some more?"
"No Suri. Let me explain!" Nadine try to reason. Suri lead her head to the left side, and saw Elliot behind her. She was shocked. "Did those.." Suri was going to ask, but there was a rumbling shook down below Suri's feet. The ground crumble and Suri fell.
"SURI!!" Nadine screamed, loudy as her echo boom through out the entire mountains. A soft boom hit the ground deep down below. There was no sign. Panick, the doe quickly needed to find a way down. Soon enough, she took a shortcut and saw Suri laying on the ground lifeless. "Suri...Suri wake up!" Nadine said, nudging her gently, but the fawn made no movement. Nadine back away slowly with grief. "Oh no....this is all my fault. What have I done?" She said to herself.

Elliot followed behind Nadine as they found Suri. Nadine broke down again... and Elliot had somewhat of an epiphamy. "Nadine..." he started.. "We can't do this anymore. We can't let our emotions get out of hand. I mean... look what it's driven us to!" he cried...

Nadine wanted to tell Elliot to shut his mouth, but begin to think maybe he had a point. After what happen before to Hazel, then to Elliot and now Suri, Nadine began to think that maybe something was wrong in the family that was the cause of this....maybe she thought it was her. She couldn't let her feelings out, and now wouldn't had been the right time for it. All she could do was breakdown. "I....I...." Nadine try to say, but she didn't know where to began from the start. Having nothing else left, the heartbroken doe ran off, leaving Elliot behind alone next to the lifeless Suri.

"This is what I meant!!" Elliot shouted to Nadine in the hope that she could hear him as she ran off. Now left with his lifeless daughter's body... Elliot had to take matters into his own hands.
"WE'LL BE AT THE SAME CAVE WAITING FOR YOU!!" Elliot shouted to the distance hoping Nadine would come back. Thing is... what if she didn't? What if the pressure of being a mother has gotten to be too much for her?
There wasn't any time to really consider the situatuion, so Elliot picked Suri up and carried her in his arms back to the cave. It was a tough jorney, but it gave him time to reflect on this situation. 'Wow... I never thought I'd end up like this!' the buck thought to himself. Thoughts like that kept going through his mind as he walked back. Soon enough, Elliot made it to the cave with Suri in hand, or hoof... or... whatever...

Nadine could hear Elliot's voice echoing through the woods while she was still running. "This is stupid..." She thought to herself. "I shouldn't be leaving without saying goodbye, but what's the point? My life has done nothing but trouble! And it's all my fault...." She kept thinking with tears coming out from her eyes while she ran. Running and running, there was no stop for the doe. She came to a halt when she found herself in Timberline. "There's only one thing left for me to do...." She said to herself. Though she didn't like the idea, she had no choice. She decided to leave her so called world she once loved and move back to California where she belong.

As Elliot got to the entrance of the cave, he saw Nolan sat beside Hazel and Oliver. He took a moment to catch his breath... "We got problems." He said abruptly with a panicked look in his eye.

"Okay... we found Suri, but she fell. So now she's out. Nadine was getting upset so I told her we can't keep getting upset, and all she did was run away!" Elliot said quickly and sharply.

"Ran away? You don't think that she---" Nolan was going to say, but then saw something on the side of Suri's head. Nolan move in closer to see what it was. He checked and saw that look like a big deep cut on the head above the top of the right eye. "Oh no. It looks bad!" He said.

"Huh? What?" Elliot asked, but then he looked down and saw the cut. "GWAAAH!!" he screamed in panick. 'When will it end?!' he thought to himself, becoming annoyed with his bad luck...
