Hazel stood alone by himself not moving. He thought about his encounter with his ghostly aunt, thinking to himself. Should he tell his parents about this? He heard Boog's voice calling out his name from across to the other side not too far ahead, but made no replyment not paying attention. He sat still, staring at the grass beneath him.

Boog arrived at the exact spot where he remembered leaving the small buck, but there was nobody. Where could he have gone? WHat's happened to him? Surely he couldn't have gone very far, after all... Boog was only gone for a few shor minutes. He decided to call again... "Hazel...? HAZEL!!" He shouted...

Hazel heard Boog's voice calling him again, still he didn't reply back to where he was. He stood there staring deep into thought.

Even after he called three times, Boog still heard absolutely no reply. This couldn't be happening! He was responsable for him!! What if something happened?! Elliot and Nadine would be furious!
As a last resort, Boog began to sniff around for a scent of little Hazel, he soon picked it up and managed to follow a trail, when he progressed a bit, he tried again... "Hazel!!! Its Boog!!" he shouted, getting increasingly desparate...

Hazel snap out of his thoughts when he heard Boog's last call. Without another word to say, he gets up and heads on over to Boog not saying anything to him. He lowered his head, not looking Boog in the eye. He was afraid he be getting pissed at him now.

Finally, with this last call, Hazel showed himself to Boog. "Man, where did you go? You had me worried" he asked...

Hazel's face grew paled. What should he tell him? That he met his dead aunt for the first time? After the bad agrument he had with his mom eariler, he was too scared to tell Boog what happened, but he couldn't get his mind off on it. "I......I have to tell my parents something. Something important......can you bring me back to them?" Hazel asked Boog.

Boog saw that Hazel had gone a bit pale, he asked if he could see his parents. What was this all about? First he begs not to have to go and now he's asking to see them again?! this started to seem slightly suspicious... "But I thought you didn't wanna face them... what happened?" he asked.

Hazel stare at Boog looking like he was going to faint. He couldn't explain, he had questions he wanted to ask his folks. "It's something I need to ask them.....I can't say why, it's.....hard to explain." He said, his eyes shining like never before.

Hazel nodded. He didn't felt like walking, so he hop onto Boog's back for the ride back to his mom and dad.

Once Hazel was atop his back, Boog turned around for the short journey back. After just a few minutes, they returned to Elliot and the rest of the family. "Ahem..." Boog coughed to get their attention...

Hazel hop off Boog's back and stare at his family. His mother appeared to him first, but Hazel look away. "Mom.....I need to speak with Dad first." He said. Nadine didn't understand what was going on, but she allowed her son to go speak to her father, whatever the reason was. Oliver and Suri stood beside Boog. "What's the matter with him?" Oliver whispered to Boog.

Hazel moved Elliot away from Boog and the rest of the deer family group to have a little father/son meeting. "Dad, I need to ask you something....." He begin. He took a deep breath. "You know that ghost Mom ranted about? I.....I saw it. She said she was your sister." He told Elliot.
