Boog pauses for a minute. He remembers what he first considered to be a family... even before he was taken in my Beth... "Yeah, a long time ago, when I was your age. Or at least, until hunting season came along..." he said in sorrow.

Hazel's bad attitude died down when he was suddenly caught by the thought of Boog's sad past. "Hunting season? You mean your family was......ya know?" He asked, showing an example of being one of those animals who got their heads chop off and mounted on a wall somewhere back at a hunter's place.

Boog took a deep breath and sighed. "Yeah... I was just a cub. And you know the sad part? I can't even remember what they looked like." he told Hazel. "Y'know... somethimes you don't know what ya got til its gone." Boog said.

Hazel look down at the ground, his deer ears drooped down with sadness. He felt bad for poor Boog, but mostly he felt bad for leaving the family like that. He hoped he didn't worry his parents so much, but he wasn't ready to face them......yet.
Hazel drop down to Boog's feet sobbing "Please! Don't make me go back there uncle Boog! I'm not ready to face my mother again! She hates me!!"

"Aww, don't worry little buddy. Your mom loves you, she's just mad right now." Boog told the little deer in a comforting voice, taking him with one arm. "I won't make you go back yet... but until then, I gotta look after you, kay?" He said.

Hazel sighed. He didn't have any other choice, but he didn't mind having the big mightly grizzly around to keep him company. Boog was the only one he can trust more outside the family. "Fine.....Mom and Dad will be better off without me, they don't need me." He pouted.

Boog just nodded to Hazel and walked off to the family, who weren't very far away. "Elliot, Nadine! I found..." Boog said, but was instantly interrupted. "Where is he Boog?!" Elliot asked in a slight panic. "Well the thing is... I promised I wouldn't tell..." he replied. "What?! What do you mean??" cried Elliot. "Look, calm down. He just doesn't wanna have to face you right now. I'm gonna stay with him until he comes back..." the mighty grizzly explained.

"He doesn't want to face us? I knew it! I got him so mad, he doesn't want to talk to us!!" Cried Nadine. Oliver and Suri try to comfort their mother. "Don't worry mom, Hazel needs to take time off." Said Oliver.
Meanwhile, while Hazel was waiting for Boog to return, he spotted what look like a grey-white glowing doe appear from tree to tree. "Huh?" He said, starting at the strange figure. Could it be that ghost his mother was ranting about? He wanted to wait Boog to come back, but he couldn't hold it. He wanted to find out where that ghost was coming from and why was it here. The ghost got caught by Hazel's stare and gallops off. Hazel followed behind.

Nadine didn't knew what to do. If she face her own son again, he be still mad, but she knew that he needed time off. The purple mark cheek yellow furred doe couldn't blame no one but herself. She felt bad for hurting one of her own kids feelings like that.
Meanwhile Hazel kept following the strange ghost. "Wait!! I wanna have a word with you. STOP!!" He called to it. Hazel stop mid way in the middle of the nowhere. "Where am I?" He wondered. A female voice called out his name. "Hazel....."
Hazel jump in ferror. "Ack! Don't hurt me please......" He whimpered. He shivered in fear. For the first time in his life, he had nothing but cowardly fear inside of him. "Don't be afraid....." The voice said. There, a doe stood in front of young Hazel's feet. A glowing doe. It was the ghost.
"Who....who are you?" He asks, his body shaking. "I'm your aunt Suri." The doe answered. A gentle smile gleem upon her kind hearted face. Hazel stop shivering. "Suri? Aunt?! I don't have an aunt.....I have a sister named Suri, but not an aunt." "I'm your father's older sister little Hazel." Suri said. Hazel stare at the doe's sweet eyes. "What?! You can't be....and how do you know my name?" "For a long time, I've been watching over your family." Said Suri.
"The whole time? My father never told me I had an aunt......." Said Hazel amazed. For a long time, he had a aunt he never knew and his father never fully explain. "There's more to your family than meets the eye Hazel." Said Suri. "What other secrets have my parents been hiding?" Asked Hazel. "See for yourself......" Said Suri, who turn to slowly walk away.
"WAIT! Aunt Suri, if what you're saying is true, how come my dad didn't tell me? Is that why my sister has the same name as you? Does my mother have a special secret too? How-how long have they kept these secrets away from me? Does Boog know?" Hazel ask every single question fast, but Suri didn't made a reply. Slowly, the ghost quietly vanished as she walk away. Hazel stood alone by himself thinking.....why?

Elliot stood for a minute, thinking, assessing the situation and what could happen. If he went after Hazel, he would know for sure that he'd be safe, but as a consequence, it'll just anger the fawn. The alternative, if he let Boog go with Hazel alone, then he'd almost surely come back, but Elliot wouldn't be able to keep an eye on him. Figuring that if he went with the first option that Hazel would just run away again, he made a decision. "Fine. Its okay with me if its okay with Nadine." Elliot told Boog.
"What do you think Nadine?" he asked...

His mate thought clearly. If Boog stay with Hazel to keep an eye out for him, they wouldn't have to worry about him before he came back. Oliver and Suri still needed to be look after for. And for sure, there was to way two kids can stay on their own without Nadine and Elliot to be on the look-out. If there was anyone Hazel can trust, it would be Boog. Boog was very handy and helpful to do anything to help his friends for a greater purpose.
"I'm fine with that. Just be sure you keep an eye out on Hazel and don't let him get into any trouble. If something goes wrong, call us. Got it Boog?" She said to him.

"Got it!" Boog told them happily, "I guess I'll see ya when Hazel's ready..." he said, walking off. "Cya Boog!" Elliot shouted as the Grizzly left. Now it was Just him, Nadine, Oliver and Suri. "So, Nadine... what should we do now hun?" he asked his beautiful wife.
As Boog approached the place where he left Hazel to wait for his return... "Hazel, I'm back!!" he called, but there was no reply...
