This just in, I found this on IMDB. A member named AtheistRevolution found this link on worstpreviews.com and posted it in the OS topic of the site. Apparently, it looks like the Open Season sequel won't have it's chance to make it to it's theater release cause it turns out, it didn't make more than 85$ million like it was suppose to. Oh crud, I can't believe it... Mr Weenie as the main character?? Boog and Elliot could be cut out from the sequel!? Oh man that's incredible... Let's see what will happen... |

I went back and look at wikipedia, and the title still says Another Open Season coming out in 2010, no news about this one from worstpreviews.com so far. I hope the news I show you guys was fake because I don't think I can stand watching Mr. Weenie as a main character! >.<

I don't want to bring bad luck about this, but I think the news you show us is reliable, maybe no one update wikipedia. My only hope is that they will not take out Boog and Elliot from the sequel... anyway B&E will never be the main characters  |

I agree EDIT: Thinking back to the news again, I can't imagine how they come out with this weird idea... That's not a sequel, it's a new movie... o.O Look at Toy Story and Toy Story 2 ( or Toy Story 3 too ), or Ice Age and Ice Age: The Meltdown, Shrek, Shrek 2 and Shrek the Third, or again Madagascar and Madagascar: The Crate Escape ( I can go on and on ;D )... main characters are ever the same in all sequels, and that's right. I think that Pixar never meant to product a movie with Mr. Potato as main character. What do you think? Could they think that B&E doesn't works as a couple!? |

Oh! I thought you meant like a couple couple. Thank god you didn't mean it the same way I thought you said, at first I thought that's what you said and I was all like WHAT THE....LOL, but don't worry it's cool. I understand. But seeing Boog and Elliot as a couple couple would be my worst nightmare! I just hope no one on this internet world ever plans on making them a couple.....not that I know of, I've seen worse slash pairings than this! XD

If the sequel is anything like Kronk's New Groove, I'll be hugely disapointed. Don't get me wrong, Kronk's New Groove is an okay sequel, but I don't think it was that good. When I first heard it used to be title The Emperor's New Groove 2, I thought for sure it was gonna be a good sequel until they made it about Kronk. Dunno why though, I think it's cause they wanted to make the sequel different so they can save the trouble when Kuzco goes to school in the TV series.
