Okey everyone I finally saw Open Season and I loved it. I thought it was funny it was emotional and had a lot of action. I really liked Boog the most cause he is voiced by one of my faveorite comics Mr. Martin Lawrence. I also liked Elliot but I don't really care much for Ashton Kutcher but I do like Elliot though. This movie sort of reminded me of Brother Bear 1. When Kenai first turns into a bear and didn't know his head from his butt. Elliot is just like Koda very energetic talketive funny. Well anyway great movie cya fellas.

That's great to hear! I'm so proud that you finally saw it, now that offically makes you part of the OS family! YAY! ;D I forgot to mention to you on YIM that Open Season is kinda like Brother Bear, expect one of them has extra humor than the other. For those of ya that seen Brother Bear, you'll notice Boog and Kenai are very much alike. Stubborn, hard-headed, shotty XD And Elliot has that extra hyperness more than Koda has. ^^

Yeah that is what made me like this movie so much is that it was so much like Brother Bear. Actually Nadine I thought both had very good humor in them. They were both very emotional and action packed.

True. The only difference was Brother Bear had something to do with bears and brotherhood, while Open Season was more like fighting the hunters off to defend their forest.
But there's one thing I notice where both of them are alike. In the end, Boog decided to stay with Elliot and the forest animals rather than going back to Timberline with Beth, just like Kenai decided to become a bear again and take care of Koda instead of going back to his regular human life again. Funny how most friendship movies these days end up with the main character statying with their true friends instead of going back to the old life they once had.

Yeah. According to what I was reading about the OS characters on Wikipedia, it says Boog's relationship with Elliot is similar to the relationships between Donkey and Shrek in Shrek, and Sid, and Manny in Ice Age, as Boog, Shrek, and Manny all save another character (Elliot, Donkey, and Sid respectively) from danger, and in return the salvaged character keeps following and annoying their rescuer.
