"Ran away? Why would she--" Arwin asked, but stop and thought it wasn't too good of a idea to be asking that many questions in a situtation like that. He felt kinda worried for Nadine's safety, knowing what dangers will hold in the outside world, but was a little concern for Suri as well. Arwin place a paw on Elliot's shoulder. "We're sorry Ell....if there's anything we can do, we could....."He try saying, but couldn't figure out how to say it clearly to him.

"Well, can you guys take care of Suri for a while? I gotta do some thinking.." Elliot requested, Boog stepped in.. "Sure, you go do what you gotta do." he said, taking Suri into his large furry arms...
Elliot walked a little deeper into the cave, turning his head.. "Thanks guys.." he said, and disappeared behind a rock. There Elliot layed down for a while, staring at the wall of the rock, assessing the situation and the events of the past few days, trying to find a way to make things work...

Meanwhile back in Timberline, Nadine search desperality for some help. She try comminuating with humans to see if they can help her change her back, but there was no one to help her. She walk in Timberline for hours, figuring a way to change back to her human form before going to the airport to get to California. After a long day, she was about to give up but then stop and try to go to Beth's house and see if there was a way for her to get help, but there was no one at home. With no help and nothing else to do, Nadine found a paper, a pen and an empty bottle inside Beth's house and wrote:
"Dear guys, I don't know how to break this up to you, but I decided it's best for me to go back to California where I belong. I don't deserve to live in the wildlife anymore. I feel like I'm the cause of all this bad luck and I don't want the harm to effect any more of you guys. Therefore, I must leave. I don't have any other choice. My thoughts will always be with you...Goodbye forever. Signed, Nadine." Nadine said out loud while she was done writing it. Then wrote a little extra thing left. "P.S. Elliot if you're reading this, I aplogize for everything. Take care of the kids."
She completed the note and put it inside the bottle, taking it with her. Nadine found the nearest river near the forest and toss the bottle into the river, watching it sail away. Nadine shed one last tear staring at the beautiful woods she once called home. "Goodbye guys." She said and then left, heading her way to find the closest airport she can reach.

"Know what?" Asked Boog rhetorically... "I'm kinda thirsty... I think I'll take a trip down to the stream before sun down. Anybody wanna come?" he offered...

"I'll come with." Hazel said. "I could use a drink myself. All this napping for hours made me thristy too." Hazel followed Boog to the stream to get a drink when he pops a strange floating object coming their way. "Hey what's that?" He said. Hazel jump into the water to grab it and pulled it out. It was a message in a bottle. Hazel took out the letter out of the empty glass bottle and read it to himself. It was a letter from his mother. He gasped in shock! "DAD!!!" Hazel shouted. He rushes back into the cave, jumping up and down. "Dad dad dad! We got an emergency! Mom's running away!!" He yells panicking.

"Oh man..." Boog said, following Hazel in anticipation of more bad news... "What now?" he asked himself, arriving at the cave...

"Mom's running away....literally! Look at the note uncle Boog!" Hazel said handing the note to Boog first before Elliot can take a look at it himself.

Boog read the note and gasped in disbelief. "What the..? How the..? Why the..?" he tried asking, but after those failed attempts, the only question he could finish was: "Since when could you read?!"

"Errrr....that's not important! What matters is we gotta get mom back before she leaves our family for good! And the only person to stop her is dad!" Hazel replied.

"Okay... but there's a few problems..." Boog started... "First off, Elliot doesn't even feel up to looking for Nadine. And secondly, we don't even know where she is." he explained...

"You're right, but dad's the only one she'll listen to! And it says here she's heading to California." Hazel said to Boog looking back at the note again. "She's probably on her way to an airport by now. We gotta stop her!"

"We don't even know what airport she'd go to. Heck, California is huge!" Boog said in reply.. "Then again... if we went back to Timberline and showed Beth... she might be able to help us!" he continued optimistically... "Tell ya what.. we'll get some sleep tonight and start heading to Timberline in the morning, deal?" asked the grizzly..

"Uhhh I don't know Boog. If we wait by tomorrow, she'll be gone before we start looking." Hazel said. "Hazel's right." Oliver said who had just woken up from his nap overhearing what they were talking about. "Mom didn't listen to me and Suri after we found her in the cave and she didn't start talking to us until after we cured dad. If you guys do go, can you try taking dad with you? You might need him just in case."

"Alright. But I don't just want Elliot coming with me... We're gonna need to stick together. None of us knows how long this is gonna take." Boog told little Oliver... "Besides, it'd be too hard to find each other again.." he continued...

"You mean all of us?!" Oliver said if he wasn't mistaken when Boog said they're gonna have to stick together. After all the trouble they've gone through, none of them wanted to lose each other again and then go searching the next day all day. Hazel, who sees Elliot still sitting behind a rock, walks over to him quietly. "Dad....could you ummm...I dunno any way to put this, but...we need everyone to come with us to stop mom from going to California, including you. Will you help us?" He asked waiting for his father's response.
